Ryan 'Harpo' Harbert performs in many capacities, as an actor, musician, technician, designer, and numerous other roles as needed.
Music
With numerous national and international tours under his belt, Harpo is a lifelong professional musician who started playing music in 4th grade and has never looked back!
With experience in everything from jazz to classical, rock to pop, and swing to samba, he regularly performs on many different instruments, including:
Saxophones
Flutes
Clarinets
Guitar
Bass
Piano
Vocals
Harpo has performed in numerous musical tours, including five with bands overseas. He has played with too many groups to count, but currently performs with his current project, Ready, Set, Jazz!

Technical
Video
Since before video became digital, Harpo continues to deliver high quality video and audio for a variety of projects, spanning from commercials and educational content to narratives and documentaries.
After studying digital media at Sacramento State University, he opened his own production company and has produced lots of content for many different of applications.

Programming
From integrated systems to API development, 3D printing and more, Harpo has many years of experience coding projects of all sorts. As a full stack developer, he uses technology to push the limits of artistic boundaries. Check out more at the code page
Theatre
Harpo has performed in many different capacities at many different theaters around the greater Sacramento region, and a few beyond. His theatrical resume spans many shows with many theater companies in the area, including Capital Stage, Big Idea, New Helvetia, Magic Circle, and Green Valley.
Projection Design
In 2009, Harpo first combined his talent with video with his passion for theatre. Since then, he has contributed to over 20 productions creating video to enhance live performances everywhere.

Acting
Winner of a 2005 Elly award for acting in Les Miserables, Harpo's other theatrical credits include (but are not limited to) Oklahoma, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, As You Like It, The Adding Machine, Seussical, Metamorphoses, Greater Tuna, Bullshot Crummond, and the world premiere of Bullshot Crummond II - the Invisible Bride of Death!
